Production
The challenging work by Sandro & Andrea brothers, has led to a veritable renewal of working, both in vineyard and in cellar, testing new forms of cultivation of the vine plants, and more thoroughly investigating the best methods of pruning to get first-rate grapes, through gradual reduction of buds, with consequent reduced production for each plant but higher concentration;
increase in number of vines plants per hectare (currently stands between 3,700 and 5,000, depending on the variety of vine), strictly manual harvest, soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation under temperature control, entering French oak barrels for ageing; experimentation and development of indigenous vines, such as Tazzelenghe, Refosco, Schioppettino and Picolit. These are some examples of the commitment of Sandro & Andrea brothers, a production of wine of about 50.000 bottles per year, distributed on eleven different wines, integral part of the registered designation of origin of: Colli Orientali del Friuli and one in I.G.T. Delle Venezie.
